Originally from Williamsburg, she has lived and practiced in the Richmond area for the last 25 years. Her special interests include geriatric medicine, dentistry, exotic animals and client education. As the owner of Short Pump Animal Hospital, she is particularly proud of the family atmosphere and pleased to be an integral part of the local community.

Dr. Morlino and her husband, Joe, have three children, 2 dogs (Jodi and Molly) and several goats. During her time off she enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with friends and family and volunteering at her church and in the community.

Dr. Reger is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a bachelor of science in biology and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with Highest Honors. Her clinical year was spent at Louisiana State University.

Dr. Reger has been working in the greater Richmond area for the last 9 years. Her special interests include improving the human-animal bond, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Reger was born in Virginia and grew up in Norfolk and Hanover. She enjoys traveling, spending time outside and enjoying free time with her husband and her pets, a cat named Corduroy and a dog named Kanga.

Austin Wigley

DVM

Dr. Wigley is originally from the eastern shore of Maryland and became interested in veterinary medicine after developing a close bond with his childhood dog, a lab-mix named Jessie. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in 2013 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Observing the incredible relationship between pet owners and their pets is Dr. Wigley's favorite part of being a veterinarian, and he looks to foster and preserve these relationships through his work. His professional interests include internal medicine, behavior, dermatology, and preventative medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Wigley enjoys spending his free time with his wife, playing soccer, exploring Richmond with friends, traveling with family, supporting his favorite sports' teams (Duke basketball, Arsenal, and the US national soccer team) and walking his yellow lab Cameron.

Sarah Traylor

DVM

Dr. Sarah Traylor is the newest Veterinarian with Short Pump Animal Hospital. Dr. Traylor received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She did one year of clinical rotations at 11 different veterinary and specialty centers, and has a professional interest in ultrasound/radiology, surgery, and client education. Dr. Traylor also received her Fear Free Certification, Companion Laser Certification, and Basic & Advanced CPR Certification.

Starting off as a veterinary assistant in 2011, Dr. Traylor then went on to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2015. She has always had a passion for caring for animals, and she loves that she is able to help her patients each day and bring comfort to their owners.

Dr. Traylor was born and raised in Glen Allen, Virginia. She resides here with her 4-year-old cat named Flynn, who she rescued before veterinary school. Just like a dog would, Flynn loves to go on walks, swim, and hang his head out the window during car rides! When Dr. Traylor is outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, scuba diving, kayaking, traveling, and going to concerts.
